In many ways the United States is ahead of much of the world when it comes to access for people with disabilities. There are other countries, however, that have programs which are considered to be better than those in the US at least for some groups of people with physical or mental challenges.

Identify a country with a program or series of programs that improve the lives of at least some groups of people with some sort of physical or mental challenges better than we do in the US. Compare and contrast the program(s) in the US to those in your selected country and explain why the US has not adopted them.
