Write at least 5 paragraphs of at least 5 sentences each.  You need to explore the topic of earthquakes from the point of view as to what damage can occur, how you can prepare, what you would put in your earthquake kit, and how you can try to stay safe during a large earthquake. You may include any earthquake experiences you have had. You have a lot of freedom as to what you are going to write about.  You can access different sources, but your work needs to be written solely by you.  You do NOT need to cite anything.  You MUST avoid plagiarism.  Do not include long quotes to use up sentences.  You may include a few short quotes, if you want.  This is an important topic, and I want you to spend some time really thinking about how to prepare for a large earthquake.
